So trivial, but....

My two boys are finally fighting over the front seat. Younger always let his brother have it until last night. My husband and I were raised differently. I was taught to take turns, dh oldest always sat in front.

How do you handle it to ease the disagreements?

LOL even though they are teens they will call shotgun. It is more of a running joke between them though. My theory is arguing leads to both in the back seat. They seem to have a pattern though for school.Youngest teen in front to school ,oldest on the way home from practice.

Take turns or both sit in back.  Toss a coin to see who starts first.

We don't have that problem here. My DD is 14 and my son is only 4. Rule is you must be 12. If it was me and there was any fighting than they both would be in the back until they work it out on their own.

not an issue here.

but how about this.... who ever sits in back gets to control the music.  That is usually the reason the kids want to sit in the front, to control the music.  So flip it around on them.

I would let them take turns.

My oldest always gets the front seat. For safety reasons.

I always let the oldest sit in the front. I found that when I enforced the rule it worked well.
