So trivial, but....

My two boys are finally fighting over the front seat. Younger always let his brother have it until last night. My husband and I were raised differently. I was taught to take turns, dh oldest always sat in front.

How do you handle it to ease the disagreements?

Oldest always gets it in our house and has since he was around 9 because it was the only seat available once he got multiple siblings.

Well in Ohio no one under the age of 13 can be in the front. And since I have a 16yo & 13yo it's settled easily- the oldest gets it. A) because 16yo is a boy & is tall. And B) because the only place we all go together is church on Sundays so 13yo gets the front seat the other times.

since DH thinks oldest should get it, let the oldest have it when DH is driving, but since you prefer taking turns, they take turns when you are driving...

I grew up taking turns  :)  just my 2 cents

There's no fight in our house. The only one old enough for the front seat is Lexie, so she gets it. When Kiki turns 12, we'll have to figure something out...but Lexie will be 16 then so she'll probably be driving herself! LOL.

Safe is 14, bone structure wise, to withstand the force of the airbag. I only have 1 over 14, so he gets it. He is now driving himself most of the time anyway.
