my teen daughter's words....

Posted by   + Show Post

mean so much!   funny but when she compliments the way i look it means SO much more than when my husband does.  guess it is because she has a more critical eye.  but i just LOVE hearing her say 'wow mom, you look hot' or 'wow mom, great outfit'

am I the only one who feels this way when they get a compliment from their teen girl?

Absolutely not! Its an honest opinion when it comes from my teen. I was shocked when she told me that she loved my hair and wanted to grow it long like mine and dye it dark like mine. My jaw was on the floor! I was thinking of cutting it but after that, I'm not changing a thing. :)

I agree most teens are more critical and tell it like it is
