I'm sitting here watching this movie for the first time w/ my 7 year old. My two teens refuse to watch it because its in black and white. They refuse to watch anything that's not  in color.

 my 15 y.o. loves movies ,he wants to be a playwright or screenwriter some day...currently he loves b&w movies.He likes to tell me why they are more interesting ,next week it could be just the opposite...only color ; )

my oldest loves this movie and all other tim burton movies - at work they had a pistacchio display with the characters on it and i brought it home for her lol

LOL, they're missing out on some pretty good movies. One of our all time faves in Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder.

 I love old black and white movies, and so does my oldest who is 14yr.

I don't mind b&w movies either. I thought at least this was current. Well my 7 year old loved the movie. I think she's in love w/ Sparky. She want to watch it again. Maybe she will convince them to try it.
