Earbuds or headphones?

headphones - i have constant earaches and ear troubles always have so i cannot use ear buds

Earbuds for me, headphones for my younger ones, but they've got earbuds for school b/c that's what I could find at the time.

I prefer headphones, but often use earbuds so I can leave one out and still hear what is going on around me.
