My dd is a sophomore and she has been getting letters from colleges almost every day! It is so exciting. Do they send these to all hs students, we were just curious?
She has also been accepted to attend the Washington Summit on the Environment this summer, they make it seem like it is only for a few selected students across the country, has anyone else seen this?

letters for a sophmore isn't that common. Did she take the PSAT test this year? If she did and got a good score that is probably the reason for the letters. Haven't heard about that summit but it sounds like it would be a good opportunity
They took a test called PLAN and she did excellent! The Summit in DC will be such a great opporutnity, the kids stay at a local college and study for 1 week on Capital Hill, The National Zoo and Smithsonian and get a college credit!
