She does. She knows if I have to go in there ANYTHING is fair game/can be used against her including her diary.

She does. Now that she's older it stays relatively clean but she cleans it weekly.

Them for the most part, although over the last two weeks I have tore every room apart, moved children around and did some massive cleaning. It's up to them now.

My boys are 8 and 14 next month. THEY clean their room, but sometimes I go in there and it SUPER DUPER good. Like when they vaccuum, they dont get in all the cracks and that drives me crazy!

He does...he is kind of a clean freak so he doesn't ever need to clean his room, does that make since?

Define clean.

Deep clean... we do together, bedding and laundry I do. Everything else my DS has to do. The only reason I do the bedding and laundry is to limit gamer stank.

My tween and teen daughters clean their own room.

My two teen boys are responsible for cleaning their own room but their definition of cleaning it differs greatly from mine.  In their eyes, cleaning it means to pick up a few of the dirty clothes and clearing a small spot in the middle by pushing much stuff back up under their bed.  Every so often they will bring their "science experiments" (their dirty cups that they are watching stuff grow in) out to get cleaned up again.
