empty it of majority of things? A friend of mine suggested that I strip my 15 year old son's room as he has been smoking pot and cigs, lying, and stealing. I already removed his bedroom door, took away cell phone and internet. His room could use a good cleanout, but I feel I should make my son do it. I do check his room every day for cigs/pot, etc. while he is away at school.

I'd clear it out and then you can check things out while you do it looking closely for where he might have things hidden.

Oh wow, my son is 15 too, and I can't imagine him smoking pot yet. He's still that awkward and goofy 15. I'm sorry girl, big hugs and good luck.

My son's room is cleaned out.  All he has is a dresser and a bed.  That's all.  All of his other belongings were removed when his behavior because terrible.
