It isn't chained to my hip. My 22 yo it is. Drives her crazy to not have it on her at work.

Right now yes, but once DH deploys it will be on me 24/7.  DS would freak out without his, DD rarely has hers on her.

No, I always carry it with me in case of an emergency or one of the kids gets sick at school. My 13 yr old doesn't have a cell phone yet. My step son probably wouldn't be able to live without his.

I wouldn't want to try, haha.  Neither would they.

Actually, since we don't have a landline anymore, I guess the answer for me is no.

We're having our landline shut off on May 16th. At that point, my cell will be on me 24/7. My 16 year old couldn't live without his because of all the games he plays, music he listens to and surfing Amazon. I'm not sure if he actually ever uses it for phone calls.

Yes, I could....but I would miss it terribly.    My sons would be lost without theirs.   In fact, when my son moved out his senior year, leaving behind his phone...and everything else we provided, the first thing he did was go and get a cricket phone.

no... i can't live without my cell phone since we have no landline but my son CAN live without his cause all he can do with his phone is make calls, he can't receive or send texts.
