NATIONAL MAY RAY DAY

Celebrated each year on May 19 it is May Ray Day.  Today is a day to be outside, enjoying the sunshine and soaking up some rays.

There are many ways to enjoy the outdoors and the warmer days as summer approaches.  A picnic in the park, a walk along the river, volleyball in the sand, swimming at the beach, gardening, or just lounging on the deck are just a few ideas on how you may choose to spend National May Ray Day.

If perhaps the weather does not cooperate and it is cloudy or rainy where you live, the alternative would be to look at photographs of sunshine and imagine yourself feeling the warmth of the suns rays.

Are you able to be outside enjoying sunshine today or is it cloudy and rainy?

We were outside at our church's picnic after Mass today : )

I'm hoping dh will get out and get mulch today. I refuse to plant the begonias I bought until the new mulch is put down so he doesn't half-bury them like he did last time.

Yes I'm sitting on the porch now.A bunch of jelly fish and seaweed rolled overnight onto the beach and the jelly fish died...sitting on the beach stinks and it brought MONSTER flies. The county parks and beach dept is scraping the the mess back to the dune line right now.It will continue to aid in natural dune formation YAY.

There are thunderstorms, with hard rain periodically.

I had a 9-5 shift so I was indoors all day. But I'm enjoying some beautiful sunshine waiting for my train home
