Nope never. It's not her thing and I don't believe in forcing her to take care of something that she did not build/create/wish for. I do make her sit outside but she does not have to garden.

My DD will help plant things in the spring but that's about the extent of it. She enjoys doing that much.

DD will help me plant, but it seems to be my job to water and keep it all alive. Then she can boast about the veggies she grew. *boggles*

My oldest doesn't mind planting but other than that they just like eating.

 Dh is the one who's more interested in gardening. The kids will help out when asked.

 At least they help so if they want to do it when they get get older they know something about it

 They might enjoy it later and will know a little about it because of helping even if it isn't very often.

 I agree but since she is outside if she watches she might come to like it if you enjoy it, you never can tell.
