I swear I am going to lose my mind.  My DS is 5 with the attitude of his 15 year old sister.

Is his 15 yr old often giving you attitude??  He could be just mirroring what he sees each day.

That's cause the only difference between a 5 year old and a 15 year old is their ability to use bigger words.

Yep, you def don't want him to be a 15 year old thinking he can act like a 25 year old (adult). Start NOW with boundaries, what you will and won't accept respect wise and most important follow through with punishments when your little guy is disrespectful....let him know at 5 who is the parent, you will regret it if you wait, lol all you have to do is look at the postings on this board. Good luck

You need to adjust the attitude of the 15 year old too  since you said acting like the 15 year old.  You have to let both of them know who the parent is and be consistent and punish every time they give you attitude.

I realized something simular when I had both a 12year old and a 2 year old. One day it suddenly hit me that what my 12 year old was doing was in many ways the same as the 2 year old, trying to do things for herself, pull away some but,not too far etc....It was truely an eye opener.
