Found out what a family meeting was. The gave us a piece of paper about what to do when he comes home and then asked him the same questions we've been asking for a year now, and got the same answers.

That's disappointing.

Yeah, very disappointing.

Are they doing anything else to help him? Or do they not do much on weekends?

Did they tell you how long they would be keeping him?  Did they offer any resources?

It's a generic letter: Follow all medication instructions, continue therapy, look for signs of self harm, etc.

They don't do ANYTHING on weekends apparently. All that boy's done since he got there is tell everyone how we control every aspect of his life, that he wants to control it all. He didn't even tell his father he loved him, happy father's day or even give him a hug. She wanted to know why we do that! We had to tell her that he has consequences to his actions. If he WON'T do the homework, he doesn't get to go on to higher classes because he couldn't pass the ones he was in!

Getting the form answer: 3-5 days. Tomorrow he sees the psych doc and will be day 4. We leave on day 5 for florida.
