You know you are raising your kids right when they help out a stranger. Tonight my boys (17yo DS & his best friend who is like a son) saw a lady whose car was stalled out on one of the main roads in our town (which we live on). They ran across the busy street & asked what was wrong. They tried pushing her car onto the side street but her steering wheel was locked up. Once safely to the side of the road she got her infant (younger than 1 cuz still in a RF carrier) out & stood on the corner waitiing for her mom to show up. We had somewhere to be but another neighbor offered to let them stay with her til then.

Super sweet!

Last year my DD sat with a lady who's car went into a ditch. It was icy so she had the lady wait with her in her car. She was late for work, got a point for being late, but she didn't care.
