Long story short: my son wanted to
move back to Tennessee but the
courts made him go back to CA to his
dads. We went back to court and won
that our case stays in TN jurisdiction,
meaning my son can move back to
TN but now that he has a girlfriend he
doesn't want to move. Don't like gf,
what do I do?
because nice matters...

Not sure how old he is but if you give it time I'm sure the relationship will fade and he will be looking for a change and want to come back again.

That close to 18 I would let him decide where he wants to live.

His choice.....  I would let him know that you will not go through all this again.

I agree with pp's he's almost an adult and needs to get used to making his own decisions and living with the consequences of those decisions. I wouldn't force a 17 year old to move across the country, it will set up some major resentment issues if you do I would think.

Let him make the decision.  If he wants to stay in CA, let him.  As far as the GF goes, she is not your GF so why does it matter if you like her or not?? If you try to make him move he will resent the hell out of you.
