Just shut up dh!

I already have a teen boy, and a toddler who has learned to say "no" and only "no".

So my day is kinda negative all the time. Then dh comes home and instead of just listening to my day for a second he has to throw a joke in, or worse just ignore me and then ask me about my day 10 minutes later. Dude, just be an adult for me without asking for a bj in return ok?!

Does your husband provide you with a relief or more stress?

He listens to me.  I'm sorry you're frustrated.  Have you discussed it with him?

When it comes to parenting, he helps provide stress relief. He does sometimes stress me out in other ways, but not in the way you described above.

Mostly he helps. When our oldest was born he kinda tried to behave like his dad...he didn't lift a finger with his kids.We had a few chats. He is a quick learner bwahahaha.Plus he enjoys our children ,his dad didn't.

In 28 yrs of being a parent he is mostly a great helper.

Sounds like you need to sit down and tell your DH what you need from him.

Relief!    I was a SAHM for years, plus I ran a daycare...  so I guess I was a WAHM?   Anyway, Dh would come home from work everyday and jump right in.   The kids all adored him and he would often take over for an hour or two, so I could decompress and relax.
