This was my absolute favorite book as a child.

I no longer have it because it was completely worn out.  I read it multiple times a day and took it absolutely everywhere with me.  It went to kindergarten with me every single day.  Not kidding.

My oldest son's favorite book was

We read it so often, that I had it memorized.  My husband was alway impressed that I could recite the book word for word without having the book in front of me.  I can still rememer some of the pages, but not all of them.

My youngest son's favorite were the Froggy books by Jonathan London.  We owned every single book in the series at one point in time.
