Gift for 15 year old girl

A former coworker is having a birthday party for her 15 year old daughter. It is a redneck cookout theme, true for them actually, not totally a joke! My coworker is recently divorced so she is just trying to do something nice for her daughter. I know the daughter but not so well. I am going more to see some former coworkers, as is probably why I was invited. Anyway, what is a simple gift to get for the daughter. I know she loves horses, I dont know if she has an ipod, she is not a tomboy but not totally into girly stuff. Any thoughts on a gift for her? I dont want to spend more than $20. Thanks!!

A gift card, movie passes, a gift basket of bath & body works; lotions/sprays/candles/ bath salts, earings or necklace ( maybe something with lil cowboy boots).

I have a 15 year old - she would appreciate a gift card. Since she is not girly - maybe an amazon gift card, that way she can pick out anything she wants.

My 14 and 16 year old daughters would probably be most impressed with a cute card (homemade is great) containing a $20 bill.  Easy for you too!  :-)
