Who has experienced their 15-year+ son or daughter doing these, and how did you handle it?

stealing from you--money, food, alcohol

lying

smoking pot

asking friends for opium, pot, alcohol, as seen on their texts or facebook messages

sneaking out of the house at night

pornographic material/sex toy in their room

Are you having all of these issues together with one child? If a child is acting out with all of those negative behaviors they need an intervention ASAP, something major is going on, I would suspect a drug addiction ESP with stealing money. A drug evaluation by a chemical dependency professional and counseling ASAP. Call the doctor or school today, get a referral and make an appointment for as soon as possible to be seen like this afternoon or tomorrow.

I'd strip the entire room and leave him/her with a bed and a sheet with a weeks worth of clothes. No phone, FB deactivated, and his bag would be inspected daily. I would also put him in counselling and rehab.

Rock their world. Need counseling and drug and alcohol awareness or rehab.

I agree with this and also put her on lockdown! No phone, no facebook, bedroom stripped except for the necessities.

I've had some of those issues and I'm still dealing with them.  I'd like to help but haven't figured it out yet.
