Where is the farthest place you ever traveled in a car?
8000 mile road trip a few years ago.
In an Audi A3 hatchback (with a roof carrier).
Seattle to Chicago (my husband and I and one kid). Chicago to DC to Pennsylvania and surrounding areas after we picked up another daughter in Chicago. Lake Placid NY for my husband to compete in an Ironman triathlon. Our other daughter joined us, along with her boyfriend (they flew in). From Lake Placid to St. Louis, to Denver where I have relatives. My husband and one daughter flew home from there, and I drove back with the last daughter the remaining 1500 miles.
We have gone from Chicago to Vancouver and back before. We took the senic routes there and back as well.
Probably Missouri from California wwas the farthest.
From Georgia to Long Island New York.
I'm not sure. A couple summers ago, we did a month-long camping trip from Indiana to the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone Nat'l Park, Grand Tetons Nat'l Park, Glacier Nat'l Park, up into Canada and swung through Calgary, back east to Winnipeg, then back down into the U.S. So, whichever of those is farthest from Indiana. . .
Texas to Mass. We drove to a family reunion in Ga then took a two week tour up the east coast .We went in my suburban and stopped when we saw something interesting even if it wasn't on the itinerary.Had a blast.
