Is it bad for a divorced mom to leave an 18 & 19 year old home alone for a weekend? They are going to do things whether I'm home or not right? I can't be with them 24/7

Go for it. They are adults and should respect your home.

I am worried about what my immediate family would think about me doing this. We do live separate but my eldest visits them a lot

They're legally adults. Why shouldn't you leave? I mean they could legally move out if they chose to. I don't see the issue at all...

Of course not.     They are adults.    Knowing that they have family nearby, in case of emergency, should ease your mind if you are worried.

nothing wrong with going on an overnight as long as they are mature enough to lock up and no parties or friend over

There is nothing wrong with you going away for a weekend while your adult children stay home. Let your relatives know that you are going and you'd appreciate them checking in on your children if they feel the need to :)
