Love them. We used to go to the Kalahari in Wisonsin Dells every winter. Such a nice warm break from winter.

Meh...   We have an indoor pool park just down the road....   it isn't a water park, per se, but it has a big lap pool, a wave pool, a big water slide and mushroom fountain, and a fun kiddie pool... Oh, and a huge hot tub.   It was fun when the kids were younger.    That is where they took swim lessons and attended many birthday parties.

The issue with it being indoors is the cholorine smell gets pretty strong....

Never been to one, we don't have any indoor ones around here.
There is an amazing outdoor one about an hour from us though, the kids love it there.

I think it would be fun. Some of the local pools have an indoor play pool, with fountains and slides. Not as big as the picture but still fun, just on a smaller and cheaper scale. All the pools around here have play pools, some inside and some outside, and some have regular pools inside for swimming lessons and swim meets and that sort of thing.
