I think one of my sons might be going into my room when i go out.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the website but after looking around i think you all could help me out.

I have three sons and the second youngest (at 15 years old) i think is going through my room when i am not in the house. I've come home multiple times when he's the only one at home and hear quiet footsteps leave my room when i'm taking my coat off or putting my things down from work. I would normally think nothing of it, but when i asked him what he had been doing in my room he insists that he hasn't even been in there. I have even noticed things that have been moved in my room, such as my clearning products (face/hand cleansers) and my shoes were knocked over. Maybe there was more but thats all i have noticed.

Does anyone have exsperience with their teenage sons that sounds similar to this? Or can help me figure out what might be going on? I've been thinking about putting a camera in my bedroom but i would much rather figure it another way if i can.

Yes, that happened to me with my son. He was using my computer to go on porn sites and watching adult movies in my room.

I thought it might be that, but he has his own computer and T.V in his room, and i keep my computer password protected. I would rather not spend the money on a camera incase it is nothing, i dont want to act unless i know something. I get home from work soon, maybe i can talk with him again.

just be upfront with him, tell him you are curious and would like to know why.

Well, he denied ever going in my room when i am out again. I guess a camera or maybe just looking through his computer might solve the problem instead. Honestly i'm a little worried what i might find.

I hope your right carmen66 and its just a teenage sexual thing (or better yet Nothing!) and there is nothing to worry myself over.

The best way to find out what's been moved is to one day before you leave take pictures of EVERYTHING in your room on your cell phone. When you get home look at your room and compare it with the pictures on your phone. It's quick easy and doesnt cost anything.

he may secretly be trying on your clothes /shoes. he may be confused about his sexuality? you should tell him you know hes been in your room and try to get him to open up.
