Who is a woman from history that you respect?
mine is Rosa parks
I wouldn't say she's the one I respect the most (although I respect her a lot), but my fave quote is from Mother Teresa: “I know God won't give me anything I can't handle. I just wish he didn't trust me so much.”
there are several ....Jane Adams of Hull House is one.
Quoting Carmen66: mine is Rosa parks
There are many. Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman just to name a couple. I don't think I could every pick just one because there are so many that were unique and important in their own special way.
Emmeline Pankhurst - the leader of the women's suffrage movement in Britain (where I'm originally from).
