should i set boundaries for my 22 year old daughter she live's on her own in another state but still rebellious

How could you ? Unless you mean boundaries like you want help her financially or tolerate lousy attitude towards you .

 She's an adult and out from under your roof. About all you can do is tell her you expect to be treated w/ respect. If you are helping her out financially, you can cut her off if you are not getting that respect.

Other than that, she's going to have to live her own life and make her own mistakes.

Lol, um, no. I have a 22 yo dd. They have to make their way. It is. Up to her what life path she wants. I would hope you are not giving her any money.

She lives in another state. Unless you are financially responsible for her you cannot set any boundaries for her.
