Well our towns have curfews and driving curfews as well so kids have to be with an adult after 11pm weekdays or midnight weekends. What issues are you having. Mine had friends over here a lot so we never really had an issue. They were here, with friends and their parents. No where to really walk around here anyway so they were not out and about without adults much.
We just do it by each night arrangement if needed
(the teen is 14 - I cant imagine ever having one)
Ds's are 19 & 16. Never had to give them a curfew because they have always been home within a reasonable time.
Its a case by case scenario. No set time. If they were going to be some where to late I would probably just go get them. I'm not to fond of them coming home by subway alone at nght.
My 13 and 16 year olds need to be home by 9 on school nights and 10 on weekends, unless we've given them permission to be out later for a movie or special event.
Never had them, no need to put time limits on their lives. We just were kept informed of when they may be home and how we could contact them in an emergency.
Under 16, no going out on school nights (unless it's a special occasion), 10pm on weekends.
16 - 9:00 school nights, 11:00 weekends17 - 9:30 school nights, 11:30 weekends18 - 10:00 school nights, 12:00 weekendsCollege age - case by case basis, but generally expect them home by 12:30 - 1:00 unless they let us know why they will be later. No real curfew persay, but they need to let us know where they are and when they expect to be home as a matter of common courtesy (as I would tell their father if I were out). No need to be out super late as "nothing much good happens after 1 am...."
