My daughter is 15 and doesn't feel that I listen to her and honestly I don't know how to talk with her without trying to be judge mental .

Ever hear the saying, "You have two ears and one mouth?" It means spend twice as much time listening as you do talking. No matter how hard it is, when she talks, LISTEN. Hear what she's saying. You can repeat things back if you're unlcear about her meaning but let her get everything out and ASK for your opinion before you give it. And when you're asked, think carefully first. Walk a mile in her moccasins. Try to see things from her perspective but also try to offer a perspective she may not have considered.

Fair warning: If you're like most moms you'll have only about a 50% success rate with this! But it's better than 0.

My almost 15 year old dd and I recently started counseling because we were struggling to communicate. It's helped a lot!
