My DD wants to dye her hair but my DH will not allow her to put chemicals in her hair. Is there any way to dye her hair naturally without chemicals that will ruin her hair? we are not sure on what hair color to go with and it has at least look naturall b/c she is in the ROTC program at her school.
Henna is a natural hair dye. I think it lasts maybe a week, I forget it's been ages since I've used it. My daughter just recently went from jet black to honey colored. I missed the black at first but now just love the new look.
Henna is natural and sort of clay like when you mix it. I used it when I was a teen all the time.

How old is your daughter and what color is her hair ? My daughter's hair is light brown, and I won't let her dye hers either. Luckily, she's never wanted to, but she's only 14. You could try Sun In for some natural highlights...it's just basically peroxide. Or one of the hair colors that washes completely out after a few washes.
