How we know He hears us

I found a question that had been asked a while back about how do we know that God hears us. Well this is what i came up with and i figured i would post it in here rather then a response. I hope this answers that question,

How do we know God hears us when we pray? We know He hears us because we have faith that His word is true. And the scriptures tell us that He hears us when we call on Him.

O you who hear prayer, To You all flesh will come. Psalm 65:2

This verse tells us He hears prayer, now who's prayer does He hear?

Now we know God does not hear sinners; But if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. John 9:31

Now if we have made Him Lord over our lives, we are no longer bound by sin.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9

So in turn he hears the prayers of those who follow Him, who have made Him Lord over their lives.

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17

But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Psalm 66:19

And that is how we know that God hears us when we call on His name. If anyone has more insight to this i would love for you to let us know, I would love for this to become open discussion.

You know sometimes we lose sight that God is all knowing and all seeing that sometimes we need to wait on him to answer our prayers and sometimes the answer is no.

One way that I have physical proof, so to speak, that God hears my prayers is when I look back over my life I can see God's work. Even if what I've prayed, he's said no to or not right now, I can see where his perfect timing has come into play and it comforts me now when I don't know what's going to happen and it doesn't seem that he hears me, I know at some point I'll be able to look back at this point in my life and see his hands in it.
