My last doula client before my maternity leave went into labor at 1:30 this morning. She called me at 3:30 and I arrived around 4 to find her contractions right on top of one another and very intense. The midwife arrived a little after 5 and the baby was born at 6:10!!! 9 lbs, 7oz, 20 inches long! I've never attended a home birth before and it was AMAZING! I'll write more about it later, but now I need a nap :)
