Hello ladies. I am on the steering team this year as Creative Activities Team Leader. It is my irst year on the steering team and I am so excited about it and our theme this year, Together onPlanet Mom.
With the season starting up again, we are busy getting all the final details in order as I am sure you are. SO what are your positions and ideas for the upcoming year and our new theme?
I am curious what others are doing for name tags this year. We are thinking an alien with an eyeball for each child. I personally am not soldonit yet, and I can't find any cute aliens to use. But I did finds some teeny weeny eyeballs to use! Any tips?
I am asst. coordinator this year. I might also be discussion group coordinator, but a friend of mine kind of expressed interest in that the other day, so maybe she'll come aboard. She just had a baby, though, so I think she's trying to decide how involved she wants to be.
We desperately need a finance coordinator and a MOPPETS coordinator! Stressing quite a bit about the latter.
As for nametags, I think we are going to do planets, with the number of moons representing the number of children we have. On the MOPS leaders forum somebody had posted the cute alien from Toy Story. I thought that idea was really cute.
This is my second year on ST. I'm doing membership/registration stuff, discussion group coordinator (unless we can convince one of the DG leaders to do it), and Fundraising. We don't have a finance person so our meeting planner is taking that on, too.
Not sure what our creative person and hospitality person have come up with for nametags yet. I do like the alien idea, though. Sounds cute! Especially using the one from Toy Story.

Hi all! Again this year I am the finance, fundraising, and publicity chair for our MOPS group and I LOVE these positions! I was just talking to our coordinator and trowing around ideas of the name tags and I love the idea of the aliens and planets. I will have to pass that on! :O) We will be planning our first steering meeting of the year in a couple of weeks to introduce our new position holders to their new positions. This should be a fun year for us with a few new faces on the committee I'm sure there will be tons of new ideas!! :O) Can't wait to get started!!!
