Tips for shopping at Rite Aid (pls share yours here)

I always start by lookin at their adds for what they have on sale and what I can get UP! rewards for. Then I match up any coupons I have for that item to save even more.  You can choose to use all your UP! rewards at the same time or space them out to save on different transactions. I normally only buy health and beauty items. I bought some Softsoap body wash there for $1 and got a $1 UP reward for it.  I came back and used it on buying greeting cards for my office that i'm in charge of.  It's really worth it if you plan it out and match up coupons.

I am a faithful RA shopper... I feel like Im cheating if I shop somewhere else... 99% of my stockpile is from rite aid...I love the up rewards program it makes for some amazing deals.

Alot of people look at the flyer and match their coupons which is great but they arent getting as good of deals as they could by shopping BIG....To successfully shop at RA you need to make an initial investment... meaning you have to spend alot on your 1st trip to get as many ups as you can... My 1st trip to RA cost me over $100 but I got back $42 in ups... I used those ups and rolled them to buy more stuff with ups so it was like my ups never ended... that was over 2 years ago lol and my ups have never run out... now you cant roll your ups but its still a valuable rewards program

Last week I bought  this... it cost me $114.77 after  I had used all $70 of my ups and numerous coupons...The total cost before I used the coupons and my ups was over $250...I got back $167 in up rewards so thats means it was FREE and I made money... plus I am getting back the rebate form the neosporin trial kits>>> This pic has the following

12 nivea lip stuff

3 toilet paper

4 ocean spray cranberry juice

6 selsun blue shampoo

4 listerine with bonus bottles

2 baby shampoo

2 neosporin large ointment

I usually dont pay this much but this was a big haul and I used coupons on everything except the visine and the nivea body wash...
I have used some of the ups I got back but only to buy things where I will get back the same or close to the same amount of ups... sometimes I will use all my ups and get more back...

Last nights trip consisted of

• 25 bottles of purex
  
• 2 Culturell for free...  they were $16 with a $16 up... so I used $16 in ups to pay for them paid $0 and got $16 ups back
• 4 covergirl mascara
  
• 2 covergil eye shadow
• 2 packs of printer paper
• 4 skintimate shave gel
• 2 clear care shampoo
• 2 suave hairspray

I paid $10.79 by using coupons and $62 of my existing ups and got back $64 in ups... so again... its like my ups never end... although I used alot, I got alot back and even gained $2 lol
