"It is a strange bit of reasoning - and a strange period in a nation's history - when its citizens earn the 'right' to kill their own children.  How has mankind managed such a feat?  And why does the abortion industry oppose adoption so strongly?" - Anonymous

Pro-Choice Spotlight

Many pro-choicers don't seem to realize that when they get their information and talking points from self-described 'reproductive health' blogs like RH Reality Check, they are actually getting completely biased, pro-abortion propaganda written by fringe extremists.

Case in point is Jessica DelBalzo, an RH Reality Check contributor and the author of RH's piece, 'I Love Abortion: Implying Otherwise Accomplishes Nothing for Women's Rights'. Not only does Jessica '<3' abortion and scoffs at the notion that it should be rare, (referring to the common pro-choice tag-line 'Abortion - safe, legal and rare') she actively promotes the eradication of adoption with her book Unlearning Adoption, her non-profit organization Adoption: Legalized Lies, and twitter name @donotadopt, etc. Her revolutionary (and disturbing) ideas, however, do not seem to be gaining much steam because her website links are 'Service Temporarily Unavailable' and 'Server not found', and her tweets seem to be dwindling down.

Hmm, could it be that nearly NO ONE agrees with her stance and therefore, no one supports her cause?

Just a cursory glance at her book offers a glimpse of her odd and out-of-touch mind, pg 56 "-There is nothing written into law to prevent a humiliated grandparent, an angry boyfriend, or a sociopathic stranger from taking a newborn from a loving mother and depositing him at a local "baby dump."-" Of course there is! Hasn't Jessica ever heard of 'kidnapping' laws? I haven't looked up any statutes but I'm pretty sure that every state in the nation has a law against it.

I wonder how much of her rabid abortion-fetish is fueled by misguided environmental concerns. Why else would anyone be so unequivocally devoted to an invasive surgical procedure unless there was some kind of benefit to, maybe, reduce the population...(think, the debunked theory of overpopulation)?

Well, at least she is painfully more honest than any pro-choicer that regurgitates the 'safe, legal and rare' mantra. Think about it. If a fetus is truly nothing more than just a blob of parasitic cells that magically and instantaneously morphs into a fully-formed and functional human baby solely during its travel through the birth canal...then why should abortion be rare? Seriously.

Abortion Survivor Spotlight

On August 28, 2012 the Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced the launch of a $150,000 television ad campaign across Missouri highlighting President Obama's extreme record on abortion and featuring abortion survivor Melissa Ohden. Missouri has recently been at the center of the conversation on abortion.

"In light of the recent national discussion over abortion, it's important Americans know the President's best-kept secret: his extreme record on abortion. Melissa Ohden's powerful story draws a stark contrast to his unbending support of abortion and the abortion industry and reveals the human face to this debate." said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. "President Obama's appalling record on abortion is not just limited to his four votes to deny rights to abortion survivors but spans to his recent heartless refusal to support bans on sex-selection and late-term abortions. These actions fly in the face of mainstream American views and run counter to the President's first term pre-election talk of finding common ground. Recent polling reveals the majority of Americans support bans on these horrific practices."

The ad, which will air in media markets across Missouri, can be seen here. A partial script reads:

Ohden: I was aborted, and my body I didn't exist.

But a nurse heard me crying...and cared enough to save my life.

There's something else you may not know...when he was in the Illinois State Senate, Barack Obama voted to deny basic constitutional protections for babies born alive from a failed abortion. Not once, but four times.

I know that it is by the grace of God I am alive today...if only to ask America this question:

Is this the kind of leadership that will move us forward? Leadership that would discard the least and the weakest among us?

This ad is the first in a series highlighting President Obama's extremist record on abortion. The SBA List has additional ads being considered for release in North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin. This week, the SBA List is in the midst of a five state "Women Speak Out: Abortion is Not Health Care" bus tour which has drawn attention to President Obama's extreme record on abortion. Full schedule available at

The Susan B. Anthony List, and its connected Political Action Committee, the SBA List Candidate Fund, are dedicated to electing candidates and pursuing policies that will reduce and ultimately end abortion. To that end, the SBA List will emphasize the election, education, promotion, and mobilization of pro-life women.
