Here we go ladies! The VERDICT IS - TUESDAYS!!!! 10 am
Use this sticky to ask questions, view playdate schedules and locations. As i notice people grabbing the tuesdays, I will mark them on the groups calendar. So to check what tuesdays are available all you have to do is click on the calendar link on the left side of the screen.
For the host:
Deciding to invite people in to your home is a big deal and most moms take great pride in showing off their territory. With that said THANK YOU for decideing to offer up your home. First step is to decide when you would like to have your TUESDAY playdate. Try to make sure you pick a date that is at least 2 weeks out as to make sure to get the word out to as many moms as possible. Also inform us of how you would like to be contacted for directions to your home.
the only thing i think that should be expected is that you put forward what you would like to get out of it. Dont make this too hard on yourself or stressful because we want you to be comfortable hosting more than once. Simple is easy and in reality our kids are EASY. Every mother loves coffee and ever child like something sweet ;) There is really no major requirement except that we have fun with this! the holidays are coming so themes pladates could be fun as well! Lets be creative and enjoy this holiday season with new and old friends!!!
For the Atendees:
- If your children have an allergy please post it so that the host can be aware. We have had moms in the past with kids who were glutin free or lactose intolorant so we need to try and be sesitive to that so that all kids can feel welcome.
- If your child is sick. Now every mother knows their child, so just be smart. Its getting colder and runny noses are common, if you feel honestly that it is nothing but a runny nose then no one should question you judgement. We want our kids to go to playdates healthy and come home heathy. But kids do get sick and cold can be caught anywhere so no blame should ever be placed. As long as we all use common sense we should all come out fine :)
Alright - let the fun begin!! I cant wait to see you all regularly and ESPECIALLY to meet some new momma friends!
Ok, so the first Official playdate will be at my house. I know that its last minute and had i been on my top game and posted on saturday like i said we would have had more time. But all you mommies how there who are interested in coming please let me know, if you need directions you can pm me. I will provide bagles and cream cheese and some waffles or pancakes for the kids. coffee and tea - maybe even some memosas and juice for the kids. Im posting it to the calendar now!
Hey ladies i am sad to inform you all that my daughter had a bad bad little throw up episode, so bad that a couple of times i thought she wasnt breathing - NO FUN! i was so busy prepping for tomorrow that i hardly noticed that she wasnt really eating much or acting herself. so i really need to set tomorrow aside to spend some time with here and focus on her feeling better. If everyone is ok with meeting next tuesday at my house i am up for it, but i know its just days before turkey day so i would understand if everyone would like to skip and wait until after that holiday is over.
Playdate here at my home tomorrow @ 10. I would love to see some of you new moms here if you are available and interested. PM me for my address, im going to post this on the calendar. I will have a craft os some kind so bring crafting ready clothes! i will have hot choclate, coffee and some juice. Looking forward to seeing some new faces :0)
