I made my first diaper ever!!!!! (recycled t-shirt dipe :-) several pictures included
Hi Ladies!
I made my first diaper ever :-) I wanted to practice because I signed up for the December swap!
I used my thirsties diaper cover as a rough pattern and overall it went great following the tutorial http://mayna.livejournal.com/198548.html that I found on this site. (DON"T USE A HIGHLIGHTER TO MARK ELASTIC ENDS LIKE RECOMMENDED! lol I just scrubbed pink dye out of my diaper after putting it through the wash the first time....)
The whole thing is just a little big on her (which is fine because she's growing so fast). I used four layers of t-shirt and an old washcloth for a soaker. I still need to add snaps (Pliers and snaps are shipping Monday), but here it is!

cute dipe!!
