So, we're trying to save extra money, especially because we're HOPEFULLY moving to Fort Bragg soon. So, we're cutting expenses we don't need. (cut cable and house phone already)
So I decided to jump on the Mama cloth wagon and I've made myself quite a few pads with my scrap fabric, which is quite a bit. lol. I have made about 12/13 and haven't even put a dent in my scrap box.
My next task is to make some family cloth for pees only and for the main bathroom only (for now) to cut on toilet paper costs. Basically that would be for Juliana and I. How big should I make the family cloth?
I also want to make some unpaper towels. What is the best (but cheapest) route to take on making that?
I've already been experimenting with laundry detergent... right now just for my cloth diapers. I'm still unsure about it. I want to make more smells for it but i haven't got a clue as to how to do that. I've used tea tree oil in my last few batches.
I am trying to think of anything else I can make myself instead of buying it at the store, any suggestions?

Family cloth - 4x4 works just fine for me, but DB prefers 5x5 or larger.
Don't know about unpaper towels. I just use microfiber towels for messes and cleaning, as they work well without cleaners. They were 2 for $1 at the Dollar Tree.
Use essential oils for different smells.
You can make your own household cleaners. Can't really think of anything else right now, though.
