Didn't get up at the crack of dawn but I made a mid-morning stop at Joann Fabrics!  I got TONS of cute flannel prints and solids for only 1.49 a yard :-)  It wasn't too crazy either so that was nice.

I did not. like PP said. nothing I wanted bad enough to drag 5 kids to my grams, and haul my butt to a line at 5am...lol. but its only 8:30 here now so I am getting kiddos ready and gonna check out Joanns. we'll see...

Well, I was up and out of the house by 6:15am.  Went to walmart, but they sold out of the $3 jammies they had!  So, I left empty handed, because that was the only reason I went there.

I did go to Joannes, and got a TON of fabrics in hopes to sell some dipes this weekend, and make some dipes for my baby as well.  I spent only $63 and got 3 huge bags FULL of fabric, and saved $213+!!!!!!

I really wanted to. Not so much because I needed anything, but because it is tradition. I am big on tradition, maily because of my OCD, but my mom decided to ditch me at the last minute. I was almost in tears as stupid as that sounds.

Not me... but I woke up at 1am and got online to get my son's gift at Walmart.com

oh I am sorry! Part of me wished my mom and sisters had that kind of tradition, but we don't.

We went out at about 2pm to get some felt - ended up deciding not to buy it, but I got lots of other pretty fabrics =) Hoping to make DS some night-time trainers soon, so this was definitely good timing!

I don't tend to ever go out on this day. I expect mayhem and madness. Things were much calmer than I'd thought, though.

I wish I could have at least gone to Joannes. Unfortunately we had some bad family drama unfold yesterday that brought up accusations against someone we all love and also brought up secrets from the past. :( I'm glad we at least had a good meal first. I had to spend all day today on the phone talking with various family members. So no shopping for me even though I need some retail therapy.
