My first itty bitty dipe!

This is from the Darling Diaper newborn pattern. I've got to say, it confused the heck out of me. The instructions claim there's a 3/8" seam allowance included, but the snaps were marked in what would be the seam allowance if that's the case - and simply moving them inward a little left them too close together. Obviously I went a little crooked while trying to place them. Can't say I'm totally pleased with how it came out, but this one was mostly practice; I have six more waiting on snaps that I'm hoping to sell once I figure out what to do about labels.

The soaker is sewn on at the back; I hate trying to match inserts to diapers!

I attached the bottom to the top "petal" midway so it could best suit a boy or girl depending on how it's folded.

So...any suggestions on improvements? Proper wing snap placement? Is my insert design ridiculous or good?

Great job. I like the soaker design. I never thought to do something like that. I always just make mine super long to roll down. (now that i've changed my soaker again lol)
