How does a co-op work and How do I go about joining a co-op? I'm pretty new to cloth diapering and sewing them. I keep reading about the ladies on here doing co-ops to get fabrics. Thank you.

Basically one person runs it and selects a number of fabrics or materials for the month. You say how much you want of each and when they get the minimum they need the coop closes and money is due.  They then order it and when they get it they cut it up and send it to you. It usually cheaper than just buying it right out cause it's being bought in bulk.

There are 2 here I"m in on cafemom, one is CWCB Coop and Fluffy Bums & Happy Mums Coop (just search for them)

There are a lot on Yahoo too but i've never used them.

I run the CWCB co op, and we do fabric and yarn. Kids are attacking me so I can't type more to explain it. LOL
