Double Soaker

So, I just got my snap pliars, YAY, I did a test snap and it was super easy.  I want to do a double soaker (external) for night time use mostly but the pattern that I have says to do a sewn in soaker for the double long and I'd prefer to snap it, that way any diaper that has the snap in soakers can be used as a night time diaper.  Do I just place the snaps in the middle and use a suedecloth type fabric next to his skin and absorbant layers on the other side of the soaker?  Maybe this is complicated.  I have a diaper that has a snap in soaker that is double long but I have to fold it at the bottem.  Any advice on this part is great, otherwise I'll just have to play I guess.

Not entirely sure I understand what you're asking. For extra layers, though, you could do a petal soaker instead. That way you wouldn't have to fold it. Also, I would use a snap at each end to attach, or two at the front or back. With just one, it may tend to swivel and end up in funny positions.
