For pocket diapers, most will be minky outer, hidden PUL. Which do you prefer, and why?

I always use 1/4". Never even tried 3/8 because I'm happy with what I've got.

3/8" but, that is what I have always used.

Well, it depends on the thickness of the fabric layers that determine the elastic that I use. The thinner the layers I use the 1/4, if the layers seem thicker I will use the 3/8 :)

3/8" works better for ruffles because it has a stronger return.

Thanks ladies. I think I will stick with my 3/8 inch elastic for now :-)

I always thought it depended on the size of the diaper too. I guess it is what I have always done since it was what i was always taught, but 3/8 was for OS, NB and SM and 1/4 was for MED and LRG.
