Help me fix my fleece?

DS left a couple of pairs of fleece pants in his grandparents' room and...well...they're not the cleanest people ever. Now one pair stinks like cocoa or shea butter and the other feels sort of crusty. Both have been washed in both hot and cold water, I think I tried stripping them too...I even tried hunters' soap on the ones that smell funny. Nothing seems to work. Is there any way I can save them?

You guys always tell me vinegar and tea tree oil lol. Or to boil them.

Tried vinegar already. Boiling hadn't occurred to me. I'll have to try it. It would really help if I knew what was on them, but I doubt even they know.

I would get a sample of rockin green and soak them for a few hours. there samples are really cheap and one package will do too soaks. i use there non sented on my husbands hunting clothes.
