Making my own nursing pads

I'm using flannel and fleece. How many layers of flannel should I use? I'm going to use one layer of fleece on each side. If I had bamboo or zorb, I'd use that.. but I have tons of fleece that I need to use up so I'm making soakers and nursing pads out of that.

Thank you

I made my own and I used a layer of flannel, layer of terry cloth and then a layer of fleece.  They were absorbant enough for day use but failed a few times overnight... definitely more comfortable to use than disposables!  With just flannel... I would use at least 4 or 5 layers but it depends on how much you leak ;-)
