Printed fabric on the back??

I want to use some of my scrap printed PUL and cute cottons on the top, backs of my diapers, over the wings.  If I sew my cottons to my pull with a seam across the butt area of the diaper, will it wick (with polyester thread of course)??  Also If I sew together printed PUL with a solid PUL at the same spot, will that wick?

Any seam in pul has that potential. You can lessen that potential by using a fine ballpoint needle, poly thread, and heat sealing it on hot in the dryer after you sew.

I prefer to go with a layer of hidden pul when making embellished outers. I'll sew the print piece to minky.

I think I may have to go that way.  I'm selling these diapers so I don't want a chance of wicking.  I guess my yellow PUL will now be hidden.....
