My mom is 60. She got a brand new sewing machine for Xmas. She's on a fixed income of 754.00 a month and id like her to take up a hobby because she sleeps all the time out of being broke and unhappy. Her mind is Kinda going and I feel really bad lately because she's going to come help me for 2 months and when she wanted me to help her with the bobbin and I blew her off by being a hormonal douche. What should I get her? Maybe if she brings her sewing machine up here while she stays she can do a project to keep her content. I love her a lot and don't ever do crap for her cause well I splurge on myself. I want to show her appreciation. Any suggestions?

Yeah fabric for diapers or clothes for the baby. Or something for herself. You could buy her some stuff to use with it...like a seam ripper, rotary cutter, mat ect.

Take her on a shopping spree and use coupons if you can ask her if she wants to pick out patterns etc

I found a nice rotary cutter for pretty reasonable on amazon but yeah, get her stuff she'd like to help her sew.

Does she have a way to get around? If so, beginner's sewing classes would be nice.
