My sewing machine crapped out.. it won't sew, or it will go really slow. I can't even really turn the needle manually.. any ideas?

It sounds like something is jammed. Did you clean out the bobbin area, check inside where the needle arm is housed?

No suggestions but I hate it when that happens! I hope you get it figured out.

I had issue with mine, I blew a fuse, but I could still manually move the needle. Could be a belt or something too :-(

Mine is out too :( and unfortunately no money to repair or buy a second one since I just bought this recently. Do you have a repair shop you like?

sorry to hear about machine. Depending on how long you've had it the place you got it may still take it back and you can get a new one. I do most my sewing on a straight stitch indutrial, but I make my living sewing faux fur. Diapers are new to me

Same here. I've even managed to fix up two very abused older machines, which are quite lovely now =)

My best guess would be a) something is dirty/gummed up or b) something needs to be oiled. Should probably check your belts to make sure nothing's jammed in that area too.
