I finished this a while ago... but just got around to taking and uploading pictures.   This is just my tester, so I used fabric I already had.   I need to adjust the pattern a little... but, that's why I made a tester!   :)   It's a Ai2/pocket hybrid NB/SM

This is the small setting:

And NB:

The inside:

And my helper, Dean:

I need to make the wings a bit wider, and I might make it a tad smaller, it seems big.   Also... I've seen some Umbilical cord snap downs that go a lot further down... how does everyone else do them?

Okay, so scoop the top a bit and then add the snapdown?   That makes sense, thanks!   Mine's about 3/4in, too... I've just seen them with the snapdown going all the way down passed the other row of snaps and I honestly can't figure out how that would work (with actually putting the diaper on).

I agree, make a little scoop then it may look like it's going further down than it is right now. KWIM? I've honestly never seen a nb/sm diaper together, but I know on the preemie ones I made for a friend the snaps were about even with the snaps for the tabs.

I just hate how quickly they grow out of NB diapers... it seems like such a waste of work!   With my last son, I made fold-down covers that fit him good as a NB and lasted through the entire first year before I needed to stop using them.    This time I'm just aiming for a few extra months!  :)

I've only every had one in NB diapers, the other kiddos were too big. Of course DS3 is the only one in cloth and that wasn't until he was 2 months old. Wish I could've gotten some nb fluff, its so cute!
