You could put insert in pocket and sew shut. But aio take forever to dry. Another option would be to turn them into ai2, so add snaps and snap in soakers.

Why do you want to? Youd just have to sew the inserts into the inside of the pocket... But it would lengthen drying time.

You can make a pillow case like sleeve to put your current microfiber inserts into. You can use microfleece, minky, suedecloth for stay dry. Flannel, cotton for non stay dry. Or bamboo inserts, flannel.
