God vs. Religion

In my life, i struggle with wanting to please God, sincerely versus just wanting to get the bible reading or prayers over with so i can go on with MY Day..I have come to realize that God doesnt go for insincerety with Him.  So often, i wont pray, i will just be quiet..i dont know what to say!

How do you deal with your laziness or religiousness?  Another thing i noticed about me is that i condemn certain things but allow other things that are just as bad...Or i see something in someone else that i struggle with too, problem is i condemn or question their motives...any one else deal with any of this ?

I know that God is Almighty, but I see Him as more of a Friend who never leaves me.  I don't always know what to say either and sometimes don't say anything at all.  I'll sing along with Christian music and let that be my worship.  I'll even talk to Him like I would my best friend.

How He does me on judgement is this:  If I see someone or something I judge, He puts me either IN that position or close enough that I see myself going there, and NOBODY wants to judge themselves!  It enables me to look at others with more compassion.  For instance, I looked down at women in shelters...til I had to go to one.  Now I help abuse victims on the internet because I KNOW (or have an idea of) what they're going through.

the same thing happens to me with the judging ...i will start to catch myself either getting ready to do it or do it and i feel so convicted !
