I am learning more and more to pay attentiion to the verses or things that God is telling me and leave the rest behind.  I am talking about the verses that seem to jump out at you and not the boring ones..

God seems to be telling me that He is my deliverer and I am in His hands.  I get songs stuck in my mind and yesterday it was the east to west song by i dont know who but one phrase says " from east to west, that's where it goes.."  talking about God's forgiveness of sins.

Well, I didn't go to church today because I was out of town, and it became clear why I was needed besides the obvious of driving my father there.  I have a cousin who has MS.  He has a strong faith in the Lord, but the let me know that he was a "wild child" so to speak in his younger days.  Right away, I knew that the Lord wanted me to tell him to forgive himself.  So I did that and elaborated.  He's asked the Lord to forgive him, others have forgiven him, and now it's time for him to forgive himself.  I brought up that scripture about how the future and present won't keep us from the Love of God, but nothing is said about the past.  I told him that the past will keep us from a lot.  If the God of the Universe can forgive us (and we know He has), we should forgive ourselves.

He listened, and I hope he takes it to heart.  I believe this will be key to him walking again.  He's in his 70s and in a wheelchair from MS, but he believes the Lord will heal him again.  I'd appreciate it if everyone will keep him in prayer.
